So it has been 2 long months since I have posted! In those 2 months, we have been on 2 plane trips and trip to the lake, Aidan fell and got yet another set of stitches on his head while in DC, a week later had several seizures (not related to the head injury), and Brooklyn started crawling and is now pulling herself up. Busy times around here! We just got back from a nice and relaxing week at the lake. Mike left today for Europe and I have two sleeping babies already at 6.30 tonight. I am sure they will be wake up in a few hours and be up for the whole night! :)

New Picture Site

Hey everyone! I created a Share Site on Shutterfly for pictures so that I could upload a bunch at a time and people could buy them if they wanted (mainly my sister who always asks for them!) I have sent the site to some family members so if anyone is interested- let me know and I will add you to the list and it will update you when I have added new pictures. I will continue adding pictures to the blog but not nearly as many as I add to the other site. Hope everyone is doing well!!

Looks like Brooklyn is getting her first tooth! YEAH!!

Birthday Party Part 1

Wow- almost 2 months

I apologize for not posting sooner. 2 kids and no hubby during the week is starting to wear me out! Things have been very busy the last couple of months. Aidan turned 2 and Brooklyn will be 6 months old next week! The time has just flown by! We have had some visits from Grandma and Grandpa and Uncle Brian.
The month of April has proven to be a very sick month around here. Aidan ran a fever for a few days and then we were healthy for a week and then we passed along the flu bug. Last week I decided that we needed a little more excitement in our lives, so Aidan and I decided to fall down the stairs. We are both doing better now though. Aidan has some nice bruises to show for it! We went to Childrens Mercy and got xrays (I am sure you all heard Aidan screaming during that!) but no broken cheek bones so we are happy!
We are gearing up for a busy spring and summer. Many trips to the lake planned as well as a wedding in Tahoe, a trip to DC, and a trip to Omaha. I am sure some other trips will come up as well so we are looking forward to a fun summer!

I was upset after downloading these pictures because I realized that somehow all the generation pictures that we took got erased. We will just have to take another trip to Houston soon so we can take more!

February Fun

We have had a super busy February! Andy and Ali came down from Minnesota for a visit and then we went to Texas the weekend after. We had a great time hanging out with all the Buckneberg brothers! Aidan was super shy when they first got here but then they gave him some early birthday presents and he warmed right up! :) We just got back from Houston where Brooklyn got to meet a bunch of family for the first time so that was a lot of fun. We had a great visit and the kids were AMAZING on the plane! I was so proud of Aidan especially because he just sat there on my dad's lap for the whole 3 hour flight! And those that know Aidan well - know that he has a TON of energy so this was a big accomplishment.

The kids are asleep so I thought I would sneak in here and post some pics. I have a bunch to add so I might not get all of them done tonight. Only 1 more week and then Aidan will be 2! Where has all the time gone? He is just so much fun and has us laughing every day! Amazing how your life changes so completely once you have kids. I can't even remember not having them around- they are everything! Hope you all have a great weekend!!
