Petting Zoo

So for my 30th b-day, I had a bunch of family come in town to surprise me! When they were here, we went to the petting zoo so here are some pics from that trip. Aidan likes anything with a steering wheel so the playground was a big hit this trip!

Minnesota - Wedding and Lake Part 1

So- we got back on Thursday from our week long trip to Minnesota. Aidan did awesome in Andy and Ali's wedding. He walked all the way down the aisle with dad and then danced the night away at the reception. He also had a blast at the lake! We have tons of pics so I will try and get as many posted as I can before Aidan wakes up from his nap! Enjoy!!

Misc July Pics

I am posting a few pictures that were on my calendar from July. I will have lots more to post next week. My aunt took a lot this past weekend when they were up here, so as soon as I get those I will post. We also are leaving Friday for Andy and Ali's wedding in MN and then the lake after that. Busy busy!
Aidan is doing really well. He is so active- always moving. He loves to point at everything and is talking all the time (you just can't understand a word he is saying). I think he is speaking Chinese - very advanced little boy!!
Enjoy the pics-- Matt and Danielle got him some cool transformer sunglasses that he keeps on for a whole 5 seconds at a time. You have no idea how long it took to actually get a picture taken!! We also went and visited our friends Melissa, Cason, and Cuinn last Friday. Cason just had his 3rd open heart surgery about 3 weeks ago and is doing really well. I couldn't get a picture of them facing me so you will have to settle for their backs. They were too busy sharing some chips and salsa. Aidan is all over any food that he can dip!
I also have a picture of Aidan drinking his first fruit smoothie. He would always drink mine and then I would have nothing left so we decided to get him his own. He drank it all before we got home!!
We also went back to Paradise Park. He got to make a special pudding dessert in the kitchen there. It was hilarious! He had bascially finished eating it before the other kids even started. He doesn't quite understand the word 'wait' yet. Hope everyone is doing well!!

Paradise Park

Meme and I took Aidan to Paradise Park in Lee's Summit yesterday. It was so much fun and Aidan had a total blast! We can't wait to go back again soon....

Lake Florida

We went to Lake Florida last weekend in Spicer, Minnesota. Mike's aunt and uncle have a beautiful lake cabin there and his parents just bought a cabin on the lake too so we will be spending lots of time up there. Aidan absolutely loved his first time at the lake. He was a little hesitant of the sand at first but it didn't take him long to dive in and start playing. He also loved the swing and the paddle boat. Mike took him for an hour and half long ride on the paddle boat on Saturday! He didn't want to get off - he loves steering. He also got to drive the boat with Teresa. He ended up falling asleep on her lap while driving. He was all bent over sleeping but still had a death grip on the steering wheel! One of my favorite pictures is the one where he is sitting with all the kids on the boat. I had just put on his life jacket for the first time and he was a little unsure of what was going on. He also might not have been able to breathe! :)
He is definitely becoming more and more of a little boy. He lets you know what he wants and doesn't want. He is just so much fun and we are loving every minute we spend with him!
