Round 2 of Washington DC pics

Washington DC

Just a warning.... There are a lot of pictures that I am posting so I apologize ahead of time. We had a great time in DC this past weekend with Kelli, Adam, and Brian. We went to the zoo, the aquarium, several museums, the White House, etc. Aidan got to go on his first metro ride in DC. Luckily we got off the red line 30 minutes before two trains collided. Aidan had a wonderful time. He is exhausted from the trip and was hard to wake up this morning! We leave for South Dakota and Minnesota tomorrow. Busy busy summer times! Enjoy the pics!

It's a GIRL!!!

We had our sonogram this afternoon and found out that baby #2 is going to be a girl! Aidan has already bought her several cute outfits! She didn't cooperate very much for the pictures but we have a few that I will post. We are off to DC tomorrow-- hope you all have a wonderful weekend!!

Blowing Kisses

So... Aidan has a few fun new tricks that he does. He likes to blow kisses and act like a frog. If you aks him if he is a frog, he starts sticking his tongue in and out as if he is catching flies. It is really hilarious! Mike also took a cute picture of Aidan and Ranger looking out the front door. We are going to DC this weekend and Sioux Falls the following weekend so we should have a lot of pictures to post soon. And this Friday we find out if Aidan is going to have a little brother or little sister. I will keep you all posted....

New Pics

I am trying to be better about taking pics. Here are a few from the weekend. We had a picnic with a bunch of other kids on Friday, went to the Heart Walk on Saturday morning, and then to Deanna Rose Farmstead on Sunday. Busy weekend! Aidan loves being outside and absolutely LOVES talking to the goats and cows at the Farmstead. I will have to get it on video because it is just too funny not to share. Enjoy the pics!

A few more pics

So I thought I had a lot more pictures to post but it turns out that we haven't taken very many lately. What bad parents!! We will try and do better.... Here are som pictures from swim lessons (he held on to me for dear life!!!) and from the zoo.

I finally gave in to all the emails I was getting to post new pictures! It has been a busy last month and a half. Aidan is walking all over the place. We call him the Energizer Bunny because I seriously don't know where he gets all this energy from. He is in constant motion from the time he gets up until he goes to sleep! He doesn't like to nap for me but continues to take naps at daycare of course. I just like to tell myself it is because he likes spending time with mom and dad! These pictures are all courtesy of my sister from our trip to Houston in late April. This top picture is just for Brian. He warned me never to show anyone that Aidan was playing with my makeup brushes. But that day- that was about all that would make him happy. He also has his new blanket on his lap in that picture that Kelli made him.

I have some other pictures that I need to upload and post as well so stay tuned. I hope to do that in the next day or two.

We also have some exciting news to share. I think we have been able to talk to most everyone already, but if not sorry you are finding this out via the blog! Aidan is going to be a big brother!! I am due on Halloween but will most likely have to have another c-section so we have tentatively scheduled that for October 22nd - the same day as my grandparents anniversary. We are really excited and exhausted!!
