Picture catch up

I have a lot of catching up to do on pictures. We continue to be super busy and we have been sick all week long! :( Not fun at all! Brooklyn is growing and changing each day. She is such a happy baby and seems to smile all the time. Aidan is a great big brother and has now discovered climbing on things. Oh joy! Enjoy the pics... I can only upload one at a time because of our new camera so it will take a while!

New Year off to a busy start

So it has been exactly 2 months since I posted last! yikes! Sorry for not keeping this more up to date. We have been super busy these last 2 months. It will take me a while to get everything caught back up...
We ended up staying in KC for Thanksgiving because I was too worried about taking Brooklyn on a long car ride to South Dakota when she was so young. We were able to make it up there the weekend before Christmas to celebrate with Mike's family. Saying that the kids were spoiled this holiday season would be an understatement! We are going to have to buy a bigger house in order to store everything! Just to name a few presents that Aidan got.... train set and table, table and chairs, easel, basketball goal, Elmo Live, a kitchen, a shopping cart with food, and his VERY own set of golf clubs. My dad is eager to get him on the courses so he went to the local golf store and bought him REAL golf clubs! I told him they are only to be used at his house :) haha! They are SO cute though! I will post a pic of them eventually!
Aidan has changed so much in the last few months. He continues to learn more words which is good. We hope that one day he will start speaking a language that we all understand. He likes to sing and dance and of course is still very much into playing with balls. He also LOVES to help cook and clean. I need to keep him loving that so he can continue helping through the years!
He is getting even more independent and wants to do everything that we are doing. Which is really good but can be very exhausting! I think my patience level has grown by 150% since having him!!
Now on to Brooklyn-- babies change SO quickly that I am sure she looks totally different than when she was born. I was blessed with 2 wonderful babies! She is such a good eater and sleeper. I feed her about 9.30 or 10 at night and then I usually have to wake her up at 7 in the morning to eat! No complaints here! Mama likes her sleep!! She smiles all the time and likes to talk. She coos all the time. And she LOVES hearing Aidan laugh. I think she smiles almost every time she hears him. Very cute!!
I couldn't have asked for things to go better between the 2 of them! They make me smile so much and I just love it.
Today is my last day of maternity leave as I head back to work tomorrow..... :(
I will try and post pics throughout the day and as I get them from family members. Hope you all are doing well and had a great holiday season!
