Busy, busy June!!

I can't believe it has been a month since I have posted any new pictures of Aidan! We have had a super busy June. We spent a week in Sioux Falls with family, spent a weekend in Chicago for Josh's wedding, and then spent a weekend in Houston with family. Aidan has had many 'firsts' this month including his first (and second) airplane ride and cab ride.

In Sioux Falls, Aidan got to meet his great grandma, aunts, uncles, and cousins. We have tons of pictures to catch up on!

In Chicago, we went to the Art Museum and he got to see his first Impressionist exhibit! He smiled all the way through it (or at least his mom did)!! Aidan did awesome on the plane and danced the night away at Josh and Allie's wedding.

In Houston, Aidan got to meet even more extended family. We had such a great time.

He has changed so much in the last month. He is grabbing at everything and talking and smiling at everyone! He had his four month appt last week. He is not a big fan of the shots but we love our new doctor! He is 25 1/2 inches long and weighs 16 pounds and 4 ounces- what a chunk! He is at the 75% percentile for both weight and height. He definitely hasn't missed a meal!

We got some not-so-good news about my brother this month. He has an aortic aneurysm and has to have his valve replaced so that surgery will be coming up in the next few weeks or month. Aidan has definitely been the bright spot through all of this and has helped all of us cope with everything a little better. My brother is an amazing person and a fabulous uncle. And he would be upset with me if I didn't mention that he is the funniest in the family! :) He has touched so many lives for the better and we all wish him a fast recovery!

Here are some Sioux Falls pics....
